Raiders add strong safety
The Raiders signed veteran strong safety Keith Davis, who took over for an injured Roy Williams last season.
Davis, a special teams regular, considered joining the Raiders last year before picking the Dolphins. He was then cut and re-signed with Dallas.
According to Scouts Inc., his lack of speed makes him a liability in man coverage. That could be a problem if he sticks in Oakland, which lives in man coverage.
His strength is in run support, which is where the Raiders would want him to contribute.
