I really do feel though that if he ever fought GSP though he would get handled something awful. GSPs game is alot like sonnens but just way better. Yeah I respect GSP alot..that dude has awesome stamina..if GSP got SILVA down on the mat like sonnen did GSP would have destroyed him..But I want GSP beat because it seems he hasnt had any serious competition much like Silva..BJ Penn matchup was good but still Penn got split open pretty good in that one.. I think Penn and GSP have hooked up at least 2 times and Im sure a third matchup is in the works..I think of all the fighters right now I would say Penn is my favorite but hell I just love MMA and love any fighter that shows alot of heart in there..I have only been into MMA for about 2 years maybe..and now I just love watching Versus and Spike TV to see some of these legends that every one talks about..Thius definetly helps get me through the football offseason

I feel you. Ive been watching it since the very first one, I was a kid. No weight classes, no rules except eye gouging and biting. Some fights were boring, some were sick, some were weird. Watching one of the early UFCs, I think 4, when Joe Son was getting pounded in the balls was FTL.

Boxing was still alive back then cuz of Mike Tyson and the heavyweight class, now its done. Boxing is boring. 12 rounds of watching guys run around and land 1 or 2 punches a round, wack. $60+ bucks to watch 3 nobody bum fights and the main event, wack.

As big as Mir is, he's a boring fighter and Cro Cop just needs to retire. That was probably the worst main event fight to headline a UFC PPV card ever. That "fight" was as bad as Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin. I would be super pissed if I had paid $$$ for that fight, but I didn't, I'm a UFC interwebz stream phan.

Overall, the last few UFC PPV's have been complete garbage. Seems UFC is slowly starting to turn into the bullshit that's plagued boxing for years.
