Rodney Harrison is done hitting quarterbacks. The two-time Pro Bowl safety announced his retirement after a 15-year career for the New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers.

At the time he was on the field, I hated him as a Charger & as a Patriot. But I have to give him his props today for how he is handling his retirement now & in the future. He said he won't be like Brett Favre by putting everyone on a rollercoaster of is he gonna come back or is he gonna stay retired. He is making peace with the fact he has nothing more to give on the field and is ready to move on. He is also right in stating that the NFL has gotten soft.

Hated the guy! but he's right in retiring as his time was done didn't really have anything left.
