Ok here is the deal!
Jake has taken over to help get us our tickets thru his rep. I want to thank Don for all the help in getting this started for us. :D

Tomorrow morning (06/09/09) Jake will give a final number of how many tickets we are going to need for the game. He will secure the Best available seats they have for a large group.
Him and the rep are going to try really hard to get us some great seats. (no we will not get nosebleed haha)

If you are in for sure then make sure your name is on the list and we have your email address. Once you say you are in that's that! Locked and sealed! Our goal is to stay around $100 and below. We will start collecting money ASAP and once the tickets are on lock!
We will set up a paypal account. I would like to have ALL money collected by the beginning of July.
If you can't do this but really want to go then pm me. Maybe we can work something out..BUT only if you are serious and not gonna back out haha


For those of you that have season tickets or want to go on your own for tickets then of course you are more than welcome to be a part of our ROC tailgate.
There will be a seperate thread posted for about that in the near future.

Once Jake has locked the seats up for us I will make sure to post the information.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions please post them here or pm Me and/or Bump. Jake has lots on his plate right now so we are thankful for his help and trying not to bog him down w/more than need me.

Jake contacted his ticket rep today and put our tickets on lock.
We locked up section 135 rows 27 & 28 (I dont know the seats, I'll ask Jake)
Tickets are $88.80 each.


We did run into a problem. Jake said all along he's been asking his rep when do we need to pay for the tix and he kept saying oh don't worry about it yet. Now they are wanting the money ASAP. Jake gave him a big earful and said we would see what we could do.

the only thing I can suggest is staying in Frisco....Oakland has nothing.
you can take the bart into Oakland and go to the game. Frisco has lots of things to do.

Thanks for the suggestions sir, it looks like we will be staying in San Jose. My gf will drop me off and pick me up at the stadium. I will be there early to help with tail gate duties. Really looking forward to this, hopefully the Raiders can avoid the face plant on opening day.

I can get you guys started on a ton of sights in the east bay...there's a ton of culture there....then I didn't even know about the Black Panther Tour where they drive you through all of the spots in Oakland...

Berkeley Botanical Gardens...Everett and Jones BBQ...Jack London Square...Telegraph....Bobby Blakes Blues....Berkeley Marina....ton of spots. But yeah..if you are doing the SF vs. East Bay....San Fran will win...it's more of a tourist attraction...in the East Bay you would need a local.

You know the thing is..I live in Riverside County...when I have relatives come...there's not a lot of cultural...artsy places to take them...when I lived in the East Bay..we didn't have enough hours in the day. L.A. county is trying to get some culture that doesn't involve celebrity gazing...but they got a long way to go.

I absolutely love the bay...because it's like an East Coast City with all of the culture and cuisine but wit that west coast flava!

Unfortunately due to my job I can't go...I have 2 conferences that month so I would hardly be at work in the month of september...

You know the thing is..I live in Riverside County...when I have relatives come...there's not a lot of cultural...artsy places to take them...when I lived in the East Bay..we didn't have enough hours in the day. L.A. county is trying to get some culture that doesn't involve celebrity gazing...but they got a long way to go.

I absolutely love the bay...because it's like an East Coast City with all of the culture and cuisine but wit that west coast flava!

Unfortunately due to my job I can't go...I have 2 conferences that month so I would hardly be at work in the month of september...

Thanks BJB, we really appreciate any and all help with this trip. We'll be staying the whole week, so we should have some time to take in the sights. The gf is trying to plan things out now, so I need to throw some of those suggestions at here.

We had a big issue w/paypal and I been getting that all situated. Them peeps are jerks over there and ask too many damn questions. Apparantly you cannot collect for a item that is not in your possesion. In other words collect money from ppl to buy tickets like us but I've been working w/them and I think I finally broke them down haha. So I'm hoping we will have the tix sent out to everyone soon that way everyone has their own ticket and we don't have to worry about meeting up or if someone can't make it to the tailgate they already have their ticket and there is no worries :)
