Actually saying you flat out "don't like" a certain type of music, is closing yourself off. I can dislike a station, but still like the genre the station plays.

I don't like Power 106 (or whatever it might be called now), but I do like hip hop. :D

you are right..but I said "I'm not into rock or country" now I used to listen to lots of country back in the day so I know some of the old stuff and if a song comes on I know then I can dig it. There are a few Rock songs that I can dig too but that doesn't mean I'm into it.

The way he made it seem with his "933 is worth listening to Yikes" err I took it as him not liking that type of music...but I could be wrong, but when he said that about being closed minded I'm like hmmmm cuz I'm not closed minded.

An example of where I closed myself off, was yesterday. Hill and I were talking about the band Bad Religion, and I wrote off all their new albums based on me disliking albums from the mid 90's! I could potentially be missing some epic albums, I'm still skeptical, but, how would I ever know if I liked the albums, or not?? I closed myself off.

hahhaah I can handle some music but I just don't care for certain types...that's just me tho...I have heard songs by groups who I don't normally like or care for and I do like that particular song. I'm not closed minded in that sense haha
