The economic impact of the Oakland Raiders’ seventh straight disappointing season is hitting the team.

The Raiders are dealing with their second straight local television blackout because Sunday’s game against Philadelphia did not sell out in time.

The Raiders, who have struggled at times with selling tickets since moving back to Oakland from Los Angeles in 1995, are 1-4 and have not been competitive in recent weeks. Oakland has been outscored 96-16 in its last three games.

Unless the Raiders dramatically turnaround their season, the team could be in danger of facing blackouts for the final five home games of the season. Only 45,000-plus fans attended the game against Denver, arguably Oakland’s biggest rival, in Week 3. The Oakland Coliseum holds more than 61,000 seats. The team did sell out its season opener against San Diego on a Monday night.

Still, it seems the hard times on the field in Oakland are resulting in difficult times at the turnstile.

Hit them where it hurts, in the pockets! I hope only the Season Ticket holders show up for the next home game, & the rest of the season is blacked out. This is what's coming to ya, Al Davis, fuck you! I also heard that a Bay Area animal rights group is planning to protest against Michael Vick on Sunday.

Fuck yeah! Al Davis isn't getting another fuckin' penny outta me! I've been boycotting this old fart bag for 2 years now. I haven't spend 1 penny on the Raiders at all. I do how ever pay for Direct TV Sunday Ticket to see these games that make me wanna cry, seriously, I lowered myself to shedding tears of agony because of this teams performances. I'm crying like a little bitch, cuz my team sux balls.

Well, I'll be there Sunday, sportin' my #41 Villapiano jersey proudly... Flying outta Seattle tomorrow morning.. Trip was planned out in April when the sched came out, so I'm going.. I stopped doing these trips for the sole purpose of the game a long time ago, just gonna hang with my bros and get trashed all weekend and head home Monday morning..


Just gonna probably be another pigfuck on the field, but I'll stick around with my bros 'til it becomes unbearable and then head to parking lot for more hooch and grub..
