Connection problems???

From the moment I tried to log on this morning the site has reacted very sluggish. Most of the time I have to click everything three times before I get a reaction, loading times have doubled to say the least. Does anyone know what seems to be the problem? Does anyone else experience the same connection problems I have or is it just me?

I haven't had any problems at all and I been on for a few hours now. Are you having trouble on any other websites?

Cool, these problems normally correct themselves without an explanation. If they persist maybe Tooz or Jake can try to find out what has caused my/these problems.

Well I was right about the problems correcting themselves, the site runs perfect again but maybe one of you guys can still try to identify the problem. I'd like to prevent this from happening in the future, maybe I'm the one doing something wrong :confused:.

I think it could possibly be caused by large usage of the site's bandwidth, particularly when users post multiple youtube videos per page.

Thats funny you say that cause yesterday I went into the Hip Hop thread and there was multiple youtube videos in one post and it froze my computer up to where I had to close all my windows. Thought it was just my computer..

naw I don't think that's it...we have a lot going on but not that much. The sites bandwith can hold a lot more than what we are using.
He also was on at a time hardly anyone else was on and no one has been having issues that I know of at least..

umm yah that prolly was your computer! it couldn't handle it all haha

when i went on that page it took a bit longer to be able to access the page..

well yeah that's cuz of all the multimedia...most comps are going to slow down. It's not the site per say. Dutch was having problems on every page on the site.
