didn't the titans have a pro bowl C last yr?
youth is always good, but dont know if mack will be an upgrade..

also with the falcons picking pettigrew because they "haven't had a reliable tight end since alge crumpler"..what is that, one whole season w/o alge?

No way Stafford falls to Donks. Sanchez may but Stafford would either get swooped up by seattle or a team will trade up to get the kid.

it's going to be really interesting if Crabtree is gone by 7, and Raji is there.

teams are buying into "great offenses win games"

I don't think so. The NO Saints should of won the Superbowl w/Brees the past few seasons if it were that way!

We need to draft all defense. Defense wins championships. Our Offense is coming along. Lets pick up a veteran in free agency like Holt or Harrison and sign them to a 1 year deal. i have not given up on Walker just yet. We also have some good young receivers-Higgins, Schilens, and Watkins. Draft Raji in the 1st. A DE like Michael Johnson from GT or a linebacker whether it be outside-Clint Sintim or inside James Laurinaitis in the 2nd round. In the 3rd pick up a safety like Chip Vaughn or Patrick Chung. The rest of the draft get players who could contribute right away at special teams. Next year look at getting that big play making receiver-either in the draft or in free agency. We need to win now. That means stopping the run and upgrading at every level of the defense. Just a thought!:619:

I really doubt 6 WR's get taken in the first round, or however many you got going. I also doubt Laurinitis gets chosen before Maualuga, or Davis before Jenkins.

Why would Seattle take Stafford? Hasselback is coming back and many have questions about Stafford.

no way; the Raiders have no offense; other than DMAC they are a joke; Holt is washed up and Harrison will never last a full season with a chronic degen. knee injury that will make him out of this league very soon.

The Raiders have spent millions on LB's, DB's, and DT'S and how has that worked out.

The Raiders need playmakers. The Cards have a crappy defense but almost won a championship. The Raiders can't spend millions every year on DB's. TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH YOU!

For several years 90% of the fans have been as wrong as the Raiders in the draft; (remember everyone drooling over Huff when a few of us actually watched him play in college and knew he'd be a bust?)

No more nonsense. They could have had the best WR and RB in the NFL in AP and Fitzgerald but instead took Gallery and Russell because of "NEED". Stop the madness and draft superstars, not put holes in the dike.

Lauranitis is not an every down LB; he is a classic big ten LB that is not going to be able to cover RB's in passing routes. No way.

For two years I told people that I wasn't sold on Lauranitis abilty as a player. I stated I wouldn't touch him as a player, especially given his inability to defend the pass.
