More fucking excuses. This shit is disgusting.

The bottom 10 vs. Jets

By Jerry McDonald - NFL Writer
Sunday, October 25th, 2009 at 8:24 pm in Oakland Raiders.

Ten notable developments of Sunday’s 38-0 loss to the Jets at the Coliseum:

1) Tom Cable didn’t sugarcoat it. While the entire team is responsible for a loss of this magnitude, there was no trying to sell the notion that the problems of JaMarcus Russell had to do with everything but JaMarcus Russell.

Game-opening fumble? Russell should have checked it down. Interception thrown under pressure to Jim Leonhard? No good explanation. Interception in the end zone on first-and-10 intended for Todd Watkins?

“Just threw it up there,” Cable said. He said Russell was “out of sorts” and noted, “I just did not feel like at that point he gave us the best chance to have the success we needed to have offensively and made the move.”

2) Russell calmly disagreed with Cable’s assessment.

On the fumble, Russell said he was supposed to check down and didn’t have. The interception to Leonhard was because a defender had “crossed his face” and the one by Revis came when he was trying to allow Watkins to “make a play.”

Never mind that it was first-and-10 and he threw it up for grabs.

Russell acted like he knows the job is his until Cable is told otherwise.

In 79 possessions with the Russell at quarterback, the Raiders have 14 turnovers and have scored 14 times with nine field goals and five touchdowns.

Ja-Fuckup is a Bottom 10 by himself. He looks good holding a towel though.Great wrist action with his swing of the towel.

Cable needs to "punch" Ja-Undeserving Millionaire in the mouth. Which to him would probably seem like a compliment.

JaMarcus reminds me of the guy. Who as a kid we'd pick for touch football in the park...because he was there. Ja Marcus is just here! He exsists by accident...

I wont even put all the blame on him. That was an awful attempt by Watkins. Barnes got beat bad on that first play from scrimmage as well but Russell's lack of awareness, execution, and on top of that accountability is just sickening. Give me Bruce Gradkowski or C. Frye. I'm 100% done with this piece of shit.

Man you are so right about Barnes. What a screen-door this guy is.I know it looked worse on tv.I hope it did, cause words can't explain how bad he is.

Don't we still have Langston "Turnstile" Walker?

Yes we still have "Turnstile".Who did something i've never seen,in all the years i've been watching players roll into the Coliseum. Langston came dressed in his Sunday best, and then on the sidelines had on jean shorts, and a t-shirt.I've never seen a guy change clothes to stand on the sidelines, and he was back in the Sunday threads when he left.Nobody's making sense on this team.

C. Green has BY FAR beeen the best RT weve played all year. He hasn't been bad all the time. I'm pretty sure at least half of us wanted barnes at RT after we signed him. Myself included. No one wanted green on the team, let alone starting.

Or24 didn't say that Green was great or anything but he has a point when he says that Green is probably the best RT on our team right now and because of that its sad since Green isn't any better.

Denial is an 80 year old man that thinks the "greatness" is just another 4.3 forty away.

lmao. or don't drink that shit homie. Green honestly is the best RT on the team. Pears is a 6'8" freak with pubes spilling out of his helmet, his opponents dig in low and push him back all day, and Barnes...well, he's never played the position professionally, blew the opening play and tryed to trip a guy in desperation last week..lol

Green is a false start machine, especially in the fucking red zone but at least he is aggressive and nasty, even when he's losing his matchup., and he run blocks decent, even downfield.

Bingo.

Russell's blatant refusal to accept any part of the blame shows me that he's either to immature to be a NFL QB, or that he's simply just not smart enough.

Either way, we're screwed.
