How hard is to understand that there is always a root cause? There is one, ONE faction that's responsible for the struggles of the franchise, yet all I see and hear are foolish takes about everything in the organization being the problem.

People need to quit dicking around and running in circles. From the national and local journalists/reporters (who suck the most ass, how sad that these people are getting paid for making such foolish and ridiculous comments), to the fans who mostly don't know shit.

Let me tell you folks something:

We have a hall of fame owner in Al Davis.

We have 18 probowl and/or hall of fame caliber players on this team, 7 on offense (JR, DMAC, Bush, Chaz, Zach Miller, Mario Henderson, Gallery), 9 on defense (Aso, Chris Johnson, Seymour, Kelly, Ellis, Morrison, Howard, Branch, Mitchell) and 2 special teamers (Lechler, Seabass).

I will tell you the damn truth and real problem with the team, the coaching staff. Specifically the head coaches, who are either too much like puppets (Shell, Cable), or too damn stubborn with horrible attitude and/or personality not fit to be a head coach (Callahan, Turner, Kiffin). These guys have been the problem.

And want more proof? Name me any of those head coaches who've gone to other teams and been successful (I'm not talking pussy ass Norv successful, I mean real successful). All of those clowns except Norv haven't even been NFL head coaches after their stints here.

But whatever you think, the point is it boils down to ONE faction, the ownership, coaches, or players.

So why is it I keep seeing all these dumbass takes about Al Davis is the problem, but then so is Tom Cable and (Raider player) (insert whoever you want there, Russell, McFadden, DHB, etc)? They all cannot all be the problem dumbasses, if Tom Cable and the coaching staff sucks then Jamarcus Russell and Al Davis' suckage is caused by the crappy coaching staff, and Cable is the problem. Does Al Davis suck? Then Tom Cable and Jamarcus Russell are not the problems, Al Davis is. Does Jamarcus Russell suck? Then Tom Cable and Al Davis are not the problems, Russell is.

The point is that collectively, those who root for and/or cover the team, need to grow up, and be focused!

Okay, well, to clarify, then, Al Davis is the root cause of this organization's failures. That root cause is responsible for hiring an ineffective and under-qualified coaching staff - repeatedly - that can't get the job done. That root cause is responsible for drafting and signing lesser talented, overpaid players to fill out a miserable performing roster.

In this regard, I will agree with you, there is one single root cause and that is Al Davis. That single root cause, however, is responsible for all of the other failures and "suckage".

Al Davis most definitely is a Hall of Fame owner, he has the jacket to prove it, but if he has total autonomy over what happens with this team - and he does - then he takes the blame for piss poor drafting, terrible FA signings, horrendous coaching hires and one of the worst losing streaks in history of the NFL.

I dunno whether to laugh, cry or be embarassed by this statement. JR is thus far one of the worst QB's to ever take a snap in the NFL. Miracles happen and maybe he'll break records and win Super Bowls someday, but so far his performance has been one of the worst I've ever seen. DMAC hasn't done shit in the NFL. Bush is a solid player, but hasn't done shit in the NFL. Henderson is proving to be a potentially worthy starter, but Pro Bowl or HoF'er, c'mon?! Gallery likewise. CJ is serviceable, but not even a top 12 CB right now, Kelly is an overpaid wannabe, Morrison couldn't shed a block if he had a crowbar with him. Branch is looking like a nice player, but nowhere near Pro Bowl level and Mitchell is like a ghost, does the dude even touch the field, man, puh-leaze with this weakass shit.

But even take a look at Russell, its not liek this dude aint got the talent to be a very good QB. its that he chooses in his own fuckin mind to be a burger eating blinged out soulja boy rap star who doesnt give one shit about football, that is not Al Davis's fault. Look at the PC when he fired Lance, he said one of the main reasons was because he didn't wanna draft Russell and didn't support him. So now the big dummy knows right away that he can get away with anything because Al runs the show and not the coaches. This is why we have situations in which he shows up to TC overweight and doesn't practice hard and doesn't put in the effort.

Hell, According to Bump he actually played left corner for several years with us even though it was either Hall's, Washington's, Routt's, or Woodson's position. I see where your coming from BP but when you draft stiffs and over pay stiffs I can't blame them for playing like stiffs.
