LOS ANGELES -- Oscar De La Hoya announced his retirement from boxing on Tuesday, four months after his final bout ended in a one-sided loss to Manny Pacquiao.

Do you own it or not?

For real, he should have ended it a few fights ago. I'll always have love for De La Hoya though.

"He's just a great fighterrrr"

what a great fighter. A dynasty has just ended. one of the best fighters to ever fight. Good to see hi finally retire because he really couldnt do it anymore. At least he knows that now. Seriously a role model and a great man to look up to. I wish him the best in retirement

alot of people have hate for this dude for some reason..I dont know if its his soft xss voice or what but i can say one thing for sure...He never dodger a fighter in his career.....He faced the best of the best.....Alot of other fighters dodge the top competition ...Look at Roy Jones JR...Oscar had an excellent career and hes going to make some serious cheese now with that Golden Boy Promotions...
