He'll be back next season. Bust tend to hang around for 3-4 years before they get canned. Al Davis will try to put a support system of some kind (can't wait to see that.LOL) around JaMarcus & try to save face on his busted draft pick. It will still end in failure.

I also see the Raiders bringing in a mentor for JaMarcus along the lines of Marc Bulger or a 2nd coming of Kerry Collins.

Jake Delhomme, Marc Bulger and Chad Pennington will be the raiders options this off-season.

delhomme is a bum though. pennington may not recover right and Bulger is a wildcard.

all three of these guys will give Russell a chance to win the job.

I cant see any of these three being a long term solution to a much longer term problem.

As long as big Al is alive and kicking i see J.Russel still in Oakland
