The main card is a strikers dream! Obviously Anderson Silva is the best striker in MMA and should handle Leites. But the big fight to me is Shogun vs Liddell! I will take Shogun buy KO, if Liddell tries to stand with Shogun he will get beat IMO.
Stann and Kzystof should be a good fight and Cantwell vs Luis Cane is going to be a stand up war!!!!
Middleweight champ Anderson Silva vs. Thales Leites
Chuck Liddell vs. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua
Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Brian Stann
Cheick Kongo vs. Antoni Hardonk
Luis Cane vs. Steve Cantwell
PRELIMINARY CARD (un-televised)
Vinicius Magalhaes vs. Eliot Marshall
Xavier Foupa-Pokam vs. Denis Kang
Jason MacDonald vs. Nate Quarry
Ed Herman vs. David Loiseau
David Bielkheden vs. Mark Bocek

Anderson is going to win this one easily....Its going to be interesting to see how he comes out for this fight...He sat back a bit his last fight and hes talking about putting on a show...
Chuck is going to look for Ruas head and i think he will put him on the canvas....Chuck wins in round 2 or 3 with a KO...
There will be alot of standup fights in this card....Going to be alot of good KOs on saturday....

Another lackluster night of fights for UFC. It is sad when the lesser fights get more publicity than the main event. Chuck should have never fought the younger Rua and now his career with UFC is done.
Thank God the end of Chuck Liddell has arrived.

UFC cards have been very shallow the last few years. Especially with Pride now defunct no real competition for them. Affliction has had pretty solid cards so far.
UFC is more the mainstream fight fans. That is why I never pay for the events and have migrated somewhat back to boxing.

These past few cards have been straight garbage.....im a huge MMA fan and I agree the competition is being watered down due to the lack of competition with other organizations....

Yea man I agree they need to keep this garbage out of the pay per view cards. I hope the Evans/Machida fight is better but Machida tends to be a boring fighter.

Bunk card...If they were gonna put some basic no name to fight best pound for pound fighter, they should get one that isnt afraid to fight him.
As for Chuck, IMO, when someone gets brutally knocked out like Evans slapped him, you never fully recover, and it showed.
UFC, step your game up with these fight cards!!!

Anderson Silva vs. GSP should be the next big fight. Dana White is just salivating at the thought of these 2 fighting.

Yea weak card. They need to find someone to match Silva up against who is willing to fight. That was a disgusting performance by Leities, but Silva still deserves some of the blame.

I think Goldberg and Rogan hit it right on during the end of the fight....What is Anderson more concerned about?? Is it the W or is it the KO or submission and satisfying the crowd...Personally if i was out there fighting i would give it my all and do everything i could to destroy my opponent...Anderson just seemed like he was fighting not to lose and just technically sound while he was doing it....Also seems like Anderson is a counter fighter just like Liddell and they always fight when they get engaged....Joe Silva needs to make better mathups and give Anderson an opponent that likes to stand up and fight.....

Anderson Silva has no fucken competition at the 185 pound division. Either he goes up again to the 205's or he fights GSP who would need to go up to 185.

Silva is like the UFC-Mayweather. Counter-puncher, technical, systematically takes down his opponents. Only difference is Anderson has the ability to end the fight at any point if he pleases, he just chooses not to. He'd rather not get caught, apparently.

Besides the main event what fight sucked??
The first fight between Cantwell and Cane was a stand up war, I just watched it again, those guys were thrownig!
Kongo knocking out Hardonk was kind of sloppy, but considering they were heavyweights, it's expected. At least we saw a TKO out of it.
Krzystof submission of Brian Stann by Kimura was nice to watch. Rarely do you see a sub win by Kimura now days.
Shogun knocking out Liddell was a sweet fight. I've watched that ten times already.
Matt Wiman and Sam Stout was a war, could have went either way. Both guys came to fight!
The only problem with the card, was the main event going five full rounds. That kept us from getting to see some of the earlier matches...

maybe the lack of familiar names and the lackluster main event is what did it for me...your right that Krystof submission was nice and that cane cantwell fight was also good but overall just seeemed somewhat boring....I watch every UFC pay per view with a bunch of people and this is the first time in quite awhile everyone seemed bored and had a lack of interest....Maybe its just the hot weather here in socal....haha...
