Rolando McClain:

I would like to see the Raiders draft Rolando McClain... though not a huge need, adding McClain is definitely an upgrade - my reasoning is that if a team has an opportunity to draft the next Ray Lewis, they better draft him regardless of most glaring need... for a player like that, a smart team will make room for him.

for our first pick... I want either MLB Rolando McClain, OT Anthony Davis, or DT Dan Williams.

what sucks is, we won't get any of them.

I can see Al's next big one-liner:

"We draft great playuhs, that's what the Raiduhz do."

I'm still expecting a WR to be picked at #8..Al is desperate to get JaMarcus a WR to bail him out and make him look Superior QB ..to prove the doubters wrong..my prediction..Dez Bryant..Oklahoma State..

Pouncey is a good prospect. I just think we need to draft interior defensive linemen, offensive tackle/guard, and one linebacker within the first three rounds. If we are not addressing two out of those three needs, Don, we are not trying to get better.

There is a WR I like ..he's from my Hometown of Bowling Green Ohio..Freddie Barnes.. he played for the BG Falcons of the MAC.. He may be the MAC's all time leading receiver..He shattred the Schools records as WR. Barnes was a finalist for the Bilitnikoff award..Golden Tate won it I believe..but he was there with Shipley from Texas. The MAC don't get much respect but the guy led the NCAA in receptions this year with 150 some odd receptions..In the Bowl game against Idaho Barnes had 220 yards receiving and a couple TD's in a losing effort..wild fucking game..one of the best of the year in my opinion.. I don't think Barnes will be a first rounder..but he could be a second rder....I think hes projected 3rd or 4th..but he has good hands..can actually catch..and is a real versatile player..he was recruited to play QB but was converted to WR as a sophmore..returns punts & kickoffs.. he's fast..Sorta he sorta reminds me of a Josh Cribbs type player..only bigger..I think he is like 6-2?..220 something..I'm sure the Raiders won't pick him..But Phil Villapiano played for the Falcons as well..maybe he will be a Bird on Al's shoulder talking about him.. Phil Villapiano is a Loyal booster to BG so there could be some interest from Al..who knows?..Im just throwing Barnes's name out there for consideration..I just like him..and Iam biased towards my Hometown LOL

I'm completely with you there...

I really think we can address our KR issue by drafting Trindon Holliday in the fifth round or so. He's basically a cheap version of Darren Sproles. Little fugger has got straight WHEELS, has great hands, and is basically an illusive little scat back.

Trindon Holliday is projected to go undrafted. So we could sign him after the draft. I would much rather draft a better returner, than go with Holliday.

I like Cincinnati WR Mardy Gilyard. He could be available in round 2, or early round 3. Gilyard is a good all around receiver & can also return on Special Teams. If we could get Mardy Gilyard, then we could cut Johnnie Lee Higgins. Gilayard is a much better receiver than Higgins, & a much better all around player & returner.

Could be. I'm basing this purely off his performace last week in the Whatever Bowl, so...whatever.

Looks impossible to tackle tho

 Oh yeah I totally forgot about Gilyard..his stock may have risen some..I could see him going first round..Great athlete..fast..he's more glitzy than Barnes who is more of a possession type reciever..Al Loves flash LOL..and if Gilyard has a great 40 times he's a lock LOL..

I think your thinking of Ole Miss WR/RB Dexter McCluster. He was returning kicks in the Senior Bowl.

naw, this is the bowl game i watched...

EL PASO, Texas -- LSU's Trindon Holliday scored a pair of third-quarter touchdowns to help his Texas all-star team beat The Nation's squad 36-17 on Saturday.

Holliday, a 5-foot-5 running back, scored first on a 67-yard pass from Ryan Perrilloux, a Jackson State senior quarterback, with 10:46 left in the third quarter. Holliday's second trip to the end zone came about 5 minutes later on a 2-yard run.

OK I take it back. We are DEFINATELY taking this guy. Maybe in the first round!

Holliday ran the 40 in 4.28 seconds wearing high top basketball shoes. The time was so outrageous that the LSU coaches began arguing if they had started their stopwatches on time. "They asked me if Trindon could run it again," Masterson said. "He didn't even get in a track stance. He ran the second 40 in 4.27. He's one of those little freaks of nature."

4th round, 5th round maybe...All Holliday can do is return kicks, so his draft value is low.
