LaDainian Tomlinson signed a two-year deal to join the top-ranked rushing offense of the New York Jets.

they could have kept Jones! Ryan really fucked up on this one.

Main reason for letting him go was that they thought Jones would complain too much with Green getting the carries? I don't know.

What I do know is that KC is starting to build a monster team and just added a really good fucking RB to kill us for the next two years (at least).

Agreed. Our whole division has improved and we are signing pass rushers when our run defense sucks. Every team in our division has a good running game yet we are collecting sack artist.

I know huh? Our defense is built to stop the passing game, but how is that going to be possible if we can't stop the fucking run? Al has his priorities fucked up.

LOL Thomas Jones is just a product of his OL. He's mediocre at best.

with a solid DT and a decent middle linebacker I think our defense will improve drastically against the run. Most teams in the NFL are becoming pass oriented and we arent that far off on defense as some have suggested.

I know, but what happened last year is gonna happen again this year if we can't stop the run. Why would an opposing team even chance throwing the ball if they can eat up the clock and run all over us.. We definitely need a legitimate DT. Last year I wanted a bonafide LT to protect Russell, but after what I saw in him... "I now believe" he isn't our franchise QB... Shit, I wouldn't bother finding someone to protect Russell, he ain't worth it.. If it was Gradkowski on the other hand, then I take it back.. Let's address a part of the team we can fix and to me that would be the defensive side of the ball..
