in shape working out in arizona my ass.
he is supposably up to 300 again

JaMarcus Russell has beefed up to 300 pounds, a league source tells Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.
Russell was already overweight at 290, so he's sliding in the wrong direction. We'd say his imminent release might motivate the former No. 1 overall pick to get in shape, but history has proven that won't be the case. The "move JaMarcus to right tackle" jokes are coming fast and furious now. If Russell puts on about 20 more lbs., he could play five-technique end in Oakland's new 3-4 sets.

I can see the Raiders keeping JaMarcus all through training camp, but not giving him any reps, & then releasing him. This way JaMarcus doesn't get better, & can't go to any other team's camp & becomes totally unusable. I think Al tries to put this asshole outta the league like he did Javon Walker. The chances of Jamarcus being signed during the season after having no training camp are about slim to none. If I were Al, I would do this. I would totally trash this kid's career permanently. Even tho it already may be....

I really hope Al is doing this. This will really make one of the better offseasons in quite a few years. Come on Al put this fat piece of shit out of the league for good.

Russell wont be signed by anyone regardless if he had training camp or not..I was fully expecting to see the headlines today saying we cut him..Al will play his usual game of keeping Russell in the dark..much like he did with Coach Cable at seasons end..let him dangle for a few weeks..then SNIP SNIP. YOUR CUT MUTHAFUCKAAAAA..Al wouldn't have trashed Russell career..JaFLABS did a very effective job of it himself..showing up to camp 300 lbs..only reinforces the overwhelming odds Russell is fucking done..GOOD..now we can forget about the fuck..

Who cares? He'll be cut before OTA's start because if he gets hurt then we're on the hook for his salary.

And Al won't have to dick around or try to sabotage his future, dumbass already fucked his career's jeezus on his own doing. He'll have plenty of time to get FIYAH lineups from Top Nott Barbuh down in the fi hunnid n foe.

So many of you guys that loved this pick on draft day and ripped me apart telling me Adrian Peterson wasn't a #1 overall have finally seen the light.

It's not about how far you can throw on your knees.

I didn't love the pick, I'm not gonna lie I wanted QUinn cause I thought he fit what Kiffin wanted to do.

But I embraced Russell..even bought his jersey a couple days after he was drafted (but it didn't matter, whoever was going to be the pick Quinn, Johnson, AP..Russell..it would have been their jersey as I was committed to buying a fresh new player's jersey lol).

Dude has seriously bee disappointing after showing, at least to me, that he might want to become a good football player going into and throughout the 08 season. Guess not.

Adrian Peterson also plays behind one of the best offensive lines in football.

Russell was the top rated QB in that draft and we needed a QB. Nobody would have imagined, besides you -with your perfect hindsight vision- that this asshole would become such a huge bust.

There were 4 players picked in the top 10 of the 2007 draft that were worthy of #1 overall, we needed a QB, so we took him. He wasn't mine, or a lot of other posters from this boards first pick that day, but he wasn't as much of a reach, at the time, as you're claiming.

Get ovah yourself.

I didnt know anything about Russell until they announced he'd leave LSU for draft. I wanted AP too, but our need seemed to be 99% QB at that time....so I got ovah it.

I gave up on Russell a very long time ago; it really doesn't matter anymore. I think he'll be out of the league within a few years.
