I will make my bold prediction right now...
Before training camp even takes off, before possible season derailing injuries, before Nick Miller taking up a roster spot all season and not going on IR....
Here it is....
Raiders 11 loss per season streak ends this year...
Not a huge risk IMO... but still here is the kicker..
If anybody wants to call me out on the sheer stupidity of it.. Do so...
I will change my name to whatever the consensus chooses for a month...

That is one tall order. Who taught him to use his blocks? Who taught him to not go down so easy? Who taught him to hang onto the ball? Who taught him how to use his vision?
If you're gonna say that he gets 900 yards receiving, I'd be inclined to agree but unfortunately as of now, I cannot do so.
My bold prediction?? ...... Bey will shut the people up who have been over critical of him. At least he'll give them faith. I could see a 50 catch, 700 yard year from him. That's not bad is it??
The run defense might not be a disaster for once. McFadden will still be a clumsy and unproductive RB but maybe a decent to good receiver.
The Raiders Special Teams will be the worst aspect of the team if the Offensive Line doesn't take on that role.

And why? His production increased last season when Russell wasn't the QB and not only that, the work ethic the kid has is one you wish everyone did. Sure, they're only camp reports but they're the reports you want to hear which are the exact opposite of what we were seeing last season. Sure, Campbell isn't that great of a QB but he's surely better than Russell and maybe a step or two ahead of Gradkowski. If he can learn to get his reads right and just pull the damn trigger, we may have a good combo here.
Really it's just a matter of how much of the field he sees. Our 1/2 should easily be Chaz and Murphy. How many 3 WR sets will we run? Will he be the second guy? Who knows but I don't really think it's that far of a reach considering he's a year more experienced, has been looking fantastic in camps and most importantly doesn't have a fat, lazy, retarded motherfucker throwing him the rock now.

My god dude, when was the last time we were able to say that?? Ha ha ha ha I for one love it. We really could have a lethal defense this season assuming Wimbley/Groves/Scott learn how to play the run and cover......... that might be asking a lot.... shit. But for real, we will be better on D than previous years and that's one thing I think we can surely count on.

Offense will sputter again. O-line is the achilles of this team.

We're playing a lot of rebuilding teams this year, and while we're rebuilding too, our impact rookies are on the defensive side so the learning curve isn't as tough. San Diego is almost assured 2 wins over us because of how solid they are, but if we're truly better, we'll be 3-1 or 2-2 going into the first SD game. KC is a LOT better this year, as their impact players are finally healthy and their D got 10x better with Berry at safety. Denver is a gigantic question mark with their QB situation, overrated D and loss of Brandon Marshall, so we could easily go 2-0 against them (or 1-1, since they tend to play with much more fiyah in the first few weeks).
That gaping hole at center is going to cost us a few close wins since we'll be unable to score inside the 20's when it counts.

The law of averages says we will win one of those games this year. But, I have thought that the last three years. Time truly will tell on this one. :csa:
I'll go with 9-7.. Our defense will be nothing short of solid and it will keep us in the game a lot.. The offensive line is still a big question mark, but with a reliable kicker like Janikowski we will score.. As long as we can score that will help big time.. Field position is a motherfucker in the NFL and Lechler is great to have with a much improved defense.. I have never been so stoked to see the upcoming season in years!

I honestly think we'll beat them this season also. They are falling apart and we've got better (not that it's saying much) but I think w/ the holes they have, they'll be more inconsistent this upcoming season.
This "start off like shit and go on a tear" cannot happen every year. Especially w/ Nermal as their coach. Someone I know did a side-by-side of Norv and Nermal and it was seriously one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Kinda like Brian Dawkins and Droopy Dog.
