Broncos release Young after signing and drafting four running backs

Again flush with running backs on their roster, the Denver Broncos announced Thursday that they have waived Selvin Young. He started eight games last season, when the Broncos struggled with injuries at the running back position, and finished with 729 rushing yards and one touchdown.
