Went and got my season-tixs for this season a few hours ago. The facility is as stale as as three day old bread. My 12th year with season's and there is no goodies.Nothing extra, a bunch of ticket neck holders and a stack of schedules. Oh and the little "girlie" tote backpack. Amy Trask has "ZERO" PR understanding, and she's running the team into the ground. Here's a highlight from one of "her" rules that she worked out with OPD & the Coliseum. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING!! of any sort. A staple in the Nation for over 15 years. Something that became tradition with the fans. That seperated us from other fan bases, and aided in all of us having an identity that wasn't what other teams had(you know she can't stand that). Who else had fans lining up two days before games. Why wouldn't you embrace that type of dedication. This unique piece of Raider football, and the whole experience is totally gone now. They'd rather pay the police to patrol the areas surrounding the Coliseum so you can't park overnight. Than pay for a couple of officer's to patrol the spots where fans camp out, and make sure things aren't crazy (which there normally not). The preceived violence that's promoted to be around the Coliseum is blown way up. This is bullshit, and she's driving fans away. She's also "threatening" to have me, and any other season ticket holder who wants to sell their ticket (i.e.-scalp) on their own. PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. Get the fuck outta here. I let "StubHub" scalping ass or the team have the ticket, and sell it i'm ok. FUCK THE NFL! STUBHUB! & AMY with this crap.

Parking is: $30:00 dollars. Thirty sommolians to see an 8 year loser. In a 43 year old stadium, with $5 hot dogs, 4 inches long (your about that long Hill.Right?) JFWY! and $8 12 oz. bottles of lite beer. One of the greatest robberies in sports going on in Oakland. All designed by Ms. Trask. Ya'll put alot on Al. Touche. But know that the infrastructure of the team plays a role in it's success too, and the admin of your Oakland Raiders is being guided by a "clueless" discount version of Kathie Lee Gifford. And she means us NO GOOD!

I think its like that in all NFL games. Here's one solution that has worked for me.
Sunday ticket is $300. Parking is free. A 12 pack of Tecate is $10. No lines for the bathroom, and if I need to drop a deuce, no fear of some 3rd world butt disease. Hot dogs are actually REAL food, (sry Hill). My seat isn't 43 years old, but a nice plush couch to either sit or recline on. Best of all, no nerds in costumes trying to prove ultimate fandom.

I got Streamuhz Ticket... for the frugal fan.

Watching the game online: Free

A nice tall glass of ice water: Basically free

Knowing you didn't pay shit to watch your team get annihilated yet once again: Priceless.

Rite...and it's becoming the trend all around the league as well. Kept hearing before this season that attendance numbers were slightly down last year, but yet TV ratings are through the roof....Brett Fag-vre's Monday night game vs. Green Bay was ESPN's highest rated telecast, ever! The massive TV contracts and revenue sharing are one of the only reasons Al's sorry azz football team even makes any money....25k REEL PHANZ per week ain't enough to pay the salaries for TTOTD.

I heard the more profitable owners in the league are looking right @ Al Davis & a few other owners, with snide faces wondering when they are gonna pick up their own bills. I'm sure other owners are tired of carrying Al's azz. This team is fuckin' broke!

^^ And they should be.....I'd be pizzed too if I had a good team and sold out muh stadium, only to have to share muh revenues with lame azz, over-the-hill decrepit yahoos like Al, Ralph Wilson and Mike Brown.

I'll watch the games that are on they will more than likely be more entertaining that our usual outdated schemes. Football is football.

I am in the Bay Area and still didn't go. I also didn't watch the game live. I also tried to get 49er tickets for tonight (too expensive because people actually attend those games). I am defining fayk fan in so many ways right now.

Favorite part of that quote..:clap:

But all good points..

If I had the money this year I would have re-upped the Sunday Ticket myself, now it's scrambling for an online stream that may or may not work, or finding a bar that has ST.. I will be at the Chargette game on Oct 10th though, only game I'm making it to this year.. We'll see if THAT one is a non-blackout.. Highly doubtful...

Only one game was not blacked out last year and that was the opener. With 7 years of double digit loss seasons, until they win it's hard to justify paying for tix in this economy.

I still don't get the NFL though. If you want to market something you show more of it to more customers. How do you market a product by not exposing it? not getting that.

SD had it's first blackout since 2004.
