A) Are you psychic?

B) Barely beating the Rams in no way warrants getting a BJ from Jessica Alba.

A ) it doesnt take a psychic to know cambell was not going to do SHIT in back of that line.

B ) it doesnt matter who he beat, if he gives the best chance to win UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES why not start him??

we definitely lose to AZ this Sunday if Bruce doesn't start. Campbell is rattled, as usual. The guy has no grit, no fire. The team responds to Bruce. They seem to prefer him, & the way the team interacts with Bruce, it's apparent that Bruce should be the unquestioned starter for this team.

To Campbell's defense tho, his skill set doesn't fit our shit ass O-line. It's not all his fault.

Was Veldheer at LT the whole first half? Or only a few plays?

we shuffled the LT's so much in that game. 5 different times, 3 different players. Henderson started, then Veldheer came in, then Barnes, then Veldheer, then Henderson again. shit was comical at best; and Veldheer isn't ready to play anywhere on that iine. He's terrible. I thought Langston Walker played great today.

the rotating turnstiles were indeed comical.

I think maybe we disrespected the Rams, & our coaching staff actually tried out what they've been trying to figure out during an actual game. lol Think about it, subbed in a new QB, moved the O-line around all game long, suddenly things were working. What better way to find out what works than in a live game? kinda crazy, but I think we did that

I agree, I also think Cable might have had a fuck Al moment and was going to play who he wanted to.

what really stood out to me was the change of play calling in the second half. It seemed to me like someone on the coaching staff made the proper adjustments and that was the turning point in the game. Those quick passes that started the first drive with Bruce really set the table and put the offense in a decent rythm. Bruce just fits the offense better with this offensive line.

Maybe they locked Al in an electric closet? Maybe he is still there?

I think Campbell is best as a pocket passer and our offensive line can't handle that. I don't think this is damning of him so much as it is good on Bruce. This was also the Rams and they still might have lost if not for a BS penalty, so I dunno how excited I am about Bruce against good teams.

Campbell has sucked, period. If we don't start Bruce I'll probably only watch 1 drive next week.

GET OVAHH IT!!!

This guy reminds me of Jeff Garcia and Rich Gannon; both were pegged as backups for years and teams were reluctant to give them chances.

Like I said before the season started; Campbell is NOT a good QB. Shanahan's first decision was to get a new QB.

Gradkowski doesn't have a strong arm and in todays Mel Kiper world, you are deemed not good enough if you cant' throw seventy yards.

I said in my preview; if the RAiders want to be a .500 team, Gradkowski is their best bet at QB. The team and the fans respond to him. Campbell isn't a leader and he inspires people to take a nap. A good hard working guy, but he should be a backup.

No teams were not reluctant to give Rich Gannon a chance... Rich Gannon had a few chances before he came to Oakland and he SUCKED...

Teams were definitely reluctant to stick with him, and none of them ran the right system for a QB like Gannon.

That said, I do agree that Gannon is overrated. A lot of smart QB's with quick feet and weak arms would kill to have Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, Charlie Garner and Barrett Robbins around them.

also note, that when Rich Gannon came to Oakland he inherited a potential powerhouse team. With the likes of Hall Of Famer WR Jerry Rice, future Hall of Famer Tim Brown, great Backs like Tyrone Wheatley, Charlie Garner, Zack Crockett, & Jon Richie. And a very solid Defense, which also had some Hall of Famers on it as well, like Rod Woodson ,Charles Woodson, who was great. Let's face it, while Rich Gannon was in Oakland, he was surrounded by great talent. We also had a competent coaching staff & a GM. Just sayin.......

He had a nice, set table indeed... and a good OL.. granted, I think Rich getting the ball out ASAP did make the OL look better as is the case with Grads...

Barrett Robbins was NFL MVP that year, it's just too bad he had to pull the "giveth... then taketh away" shit that year.

that's actually how it goes in Alameda too, lol. Watch a few Tom Cable pressers. The media brings up statements made by "The Organization", & Tom Cable just pauses. Cable is told anything, he's the last to know. lol

Yeah big Lincoln Kennedy and Frank Middleton were a big reason Gannon was so succesfull.

Gradkowski can handle a rush; Campbell cant'. Campbell is not a good QB; I said it before and I'll say it again.

The only way he starts again is because Al doesn't want to admit he spent all that money on another bad decision. When has Campbell been good?

You are right on with that; There are certain QB's that have a feel in the pocket.

Dan Marino couldn't outrun a dead dog but he would throw where he knew his WR would be, threw the ball away, and could feel a rush. Campbell doesn't have those skills.

If Gradkowski had a big arm he's be a star in this league; I still think he's deserves a shot. He's done nothing but prove himself.
